The fast-paced marketing and communications team is looking for a talented, highly motivated and proactive all-rounder, who can hit the ground running and accelerate True’s marketing ambitions to cover the marketing and communications role for 9-12 months.

What are the responsibilities?

Your role will include:

  • Leading the firm’s media and communications strategy, and delivering the 2020 always-on marketing plan to drive exposure for the True brand
  • Optimising and managing campaigns to generate and drive brand exposure, brand interaction, and inbound enquiries
  • The creation and preparation of all communications material (press releases, social media, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, reports, videos etc.)
  • Overseeing and driving digital communications with True’s stakeholders via our website, social media channels and CRM platform to ensure the business meets its KPIs
  • Supporting the events team to ensure the events are delivered in accordance with the True brand
  • Providing marketing/comms support to True’s portfolio companies
  • Providing monthly reports to the board and consultancy on key communications issues (i.e. crisis comms)
  • Managing department budget
  • Managing related suppliers i.e. graphic designers, printers, video production etc and the delivery of assets. Sourcing new suppliers when necessary

Who are we looking for?

Candidates should have the following experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing / digital / PR roles (in-house or agency side)
  • Experience in at least one of the following sectors: retail and consumer / technology / financial services or investment industry
  • Good knowledge in the latest digital and social media tech, channels and analytics tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent project and deadline management skills
  • Experience in using WordPress (or similar), Google Analytics and Campaign Monitor (or similar) preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Blubrry Hosting not essential but desirable
