September was a landmark month for Ribble who were named presenting partner of the 2025 British Gravel Championships in Dalby Forest. The event brought together the very best riders from across the country for three days of off-road racing, and an honour to support the Ribble Outliers on home soil. The team didn’t disappoint: Sophie Wright grabbed 3rd place in the Elite Women’s race, while Jenson Young became British Gravel Time Trial Champion (the Outliers’ first national title) before finishing 4th in the Elite Men’s race.
The following weekend the Outlier’s rose to the occasion yet again as Sophie Wright took 2nd place in the Elite Women’s race, narrowly missing the win. Metheven Bond also fought through the conditions and was one of the few to complete. Ribble and the Outliers’ results from both Championships showcase not only the strength of the team but also the performance of the ULTRA-GRIT bike, proving its ability to thrive in the most challenging conditions.
We wish the team the best of luck as they head into the Gravel Earth Series this weekend, followed by the World Gravel Championships in October.
