Mike Tattersall


Mike heads up True’s corporate Partnership programme. At PwC, Mike worked with BAT, Glaxo, SAB and Associated Newspapers before moving into investment banking at Cazenove where he led advisory relationships, including ones with Tesco and Booker and was also involved in the IPOs of Burberry and Inditex. Mike then joined UBS where he advised Sainsbury's and Greggs and led Ocado’s IPO. As Chief Commercial Officer at True, Mike oversees relationships with corporate Partners including Shell, Coca Cola European Partners, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, Primark, M&S, Morrisons, John Lewis & Waitrose, TJX Inc, Abercrombie & Fitch and Pret.

Richard Anson

Strategy Director

Richard is Strategy Director at True, Chairman of The Blogger Programme, Non-Executive Director of Old Street Labs, and a Senior Teaching Fellow at UCL’s School of Management.

Richard advises high growth early stage businesses, consults to corporates on innovation and how to act more like a startup, and guest lectures at UCL business school on entrepreneurship.

Archie Mason


Archie advises True’s global corporate Partners on their digital and innovation strategy, enabling collaboration with, and investment in, early stage technology businesses.

Before joining True, Archie set up and led the Innovation team of the John Lewis Partnership, developing the growth strategy for both Waitrose and John Lewis. Archie started his career at PwC, latterly in the Deals Strategy team providing corporate strategy advice and commercial due diligence to a broad spectrum of retail and consumer clients. He is also ACA qualified.

Jamie Campbell

Commercial Analyst

Jamie works across True’s global partnerships activities and early-stage deal flow.

He joined True in early 2019 following completion of a Masters in Investment and Finance at the University of Strathclyde Business School. Previously, Jamie worked as an analyst at Bell Potter Securities in Melbourne and completed an internship at Nomura.

Aarthi Thangavel

Commercial Analyst

Aarthi works across True’s partnership activities and early-stage deal flow.

After completing her undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Warwick, Aarthi joined True in late 2020. Prior to joining True, she worked in a start-up focusing on personalisation and data transparency within the beauty and personal care industry.
